Wrap up warm and keep safe

Hello there I do hope that you are all keeping well and safe in this craziness that we all find ourselves caught up in. This blog post was inspired by two orders I had through my website this week.

I've recently added a new simple Cable Scarf Knitting Kit to the site, it's a slim one with a beautiful cable twist created by a C4F cable. The yarn is soft and fine and available in many multi coloured versions. Whilst the sample was made with a rib section in the middle I'm now more in favour of knitting it entirely as one long cable scarf, which would you choose? Look closely at the picture and you'll see the rib section. So back to those orders I had, one included the new Cable Scarf Knitting Kit paired with one of my Cable Detail Fingerless Mitts Knitting Kits. I do hope they'll be worn together as they looked scrumptious together. The other also seemed to be a colour pairing of two kits - Ribbed Hat knitting Kit in Purple-Brown and the Cable Detail Fingerless Mitts in Damson. The Cable Detail Fingerless mitts kit features Erika Knights' 'Wild Wool' an aran weight yarn and a sustainable blend of soft wool (85%) and natural nettle fibre (15%).

All these kits are featured in my Under £15 section on the Home Page, which two colours would you put together? I hope you might be tempted to try one of these smaller kits as something to keep you busy in these dark evenings its amazing how therapeutic some soft yarn and the gentle motion of knitting can be. Did you know there are only 7 more weeks until the clocks go forward, have you noticed how much lighter the evenings are getting sunset here in the Midlands is currently 5.00pm!?

I'm going to sign off now as I don't want to get too boring with this Blog!

Take care and thank you for reading.
