I'm really pleased to have a blanket knitting kit for you made using British wool from a British mill and spinner.
The Orange & yellow version - uses Natural Cream, Hazel Brown, Zesty Orange, Pear Green, Citrus Yellow.
The Greens version - uses Electric Blue, Pear Green, Shamrock Green, Stormy Grey, Sky Blue. Please note this was added on 23rd and as yet I have still to receive stock and finish the pattern to reflect the new colours. It should be available to order by the 1st March
The Pink version - uses True Blue, Very Berry, Crimson Red, Thistle Purple, Cerise Pink
This blanket is made with West Yorkshire Spinners ColourLab double knit. It is 100% reared sheared and spun in Yorkshire. This technique is known as modular or domino knitting, every square is knitted onto an adjoining square so you have NO sewing together!! By picking up stitches from the neighbouring squares you never have to sew any of them together! You’ll be an expert at picking up by the end! The instructions clearly show how to do this.
The finished size is approximately 128 cm x 114 cm. When I made the sample we squeezed out an extra tier of squares but there was only just enough so this measurement is the minimum size!
Knit One Kits top tip: Not too sure about picking up stitches make a few squares in scrap yarn and practice first.
