This is a lovely stitch to work, ideal for a intermediate crocheter or a confident beginner. When you work two rows of the pattern together it creates this pretty circular pattern.

The cover will fit a 30cm cushion cover and can be made as two or one pieces then sewn around the pad. Please note I always use UK crochet terms

CROCHET CUSHION COVER PATTERN SUMMARY

The Treble is the main stitch used in the pattern. By creating a cluster in one row you form the bottom half of the 'circle' and by working 7 trebles into that cluster on the next row to form the other half of the 'circle'. As with all crocheting it is important to start each new row in the correct space to ensure everything lines up. The pattern clearly guides you through this.

I would advise you to try out a new stitch with some scrap yarn and use it to practise with until you are happy with the technique. If you want to make the cover larger you need to add multiples of 10 chains to the 77 stitches .

KNIT ONE KITS TOP TIP

No one likes to sew in ends! So here's a useful tip. Do not cut the yarn at the end of the second row of colour, leave it hanging then it take it up the side of the work when you next need that colour. Ta dah you will have no ends to sew in...we all like that!
