Do you need a warm snuggly jumper this winter? This chunky drop stitch jumper will knit up in no time.
WHAT IS A DROP STITCH?
It's a stitch that creates an open structure to your knitting. You'll notice how 'holey' the garment appears in the picture. On the purl row (wrong side) you wrap the yarn around the needle - 'YO'. This is easier than it sounds! Taking the yarn over the top of the right needle and bring it back between the two needles, it's now ready for the next purl stitch. On the knit row (right side) you simply allow this 'yarn over' to drop from the needle.
