The stitch used for this cowl is a simple 4 row slip stitch using alternate colours to create the two tone effect.  And half way you swap the colours over, so one half is light grey and the other is dark grey!

Because it sits close to the neck you can make two of these cowls out of the two balls of yarn- one for a friend! The alpaca content makes it beautifully soft and warm too!

Skill Level: Intermediate

Kit contains: 2 x 50g (130m per ball) balls Sirdar Saltarie aran (50% acrylic, 25% nylon, 20% alpaca and printed colour pattern

You will need: 6mm needles, yarn snips, sewing up needle.
