The main picture shows the 7 colours I've used for the new version, I love the mix (and hope you do too) of neutrals with the mustard and dusky pink as accents.
(Please note the blanket shown with red is NO LONGER available).
This is a great project to pick up and put down over a period of time. To make it easier the squares are knitted in strips so rather than lots of squares to sew up you knit 8 strips each with 11 ‘squares’. These 8 strips can then be sewn together – much less sewing and ends to sew in!
The yarn is a superb quality 100% merino and is so lovely to work with, it's worth every penny.
Finished size approximately 140cm x 132cm
Skill level: Intermediate or an accomplished and keen beginner
Kit contains: 31 x 50g (100m per ball) 100% Rico merino aran weight yarn and colour printed instructions and chart
You will need: The yarn label suggests a 5mm needle however I think for a blanket you might want it to feel quite fluid so i recommend 5.5mm straight needles or short circular needles & 5.5mm 100cm circular needles for the borders, scissors, sewing up needle.
