This is such a lovely pure cotton yarn. It's ideal for baby garments or baby blankets.
WHAT IS DOUBLE KNIT or DK?
It is the term used to describe the thickness of the yarn. Double knit is most commonly used for lighter weight adult sweaters, children's garments, hats, gloves, scarves, blankets and cushion covers and lots lots more! Also note the recommended needle or hook size is a 4mm or sometimes a 4.5mm. DK is also a popular term in the UK but in the US would be referred to as a light worsted or 8ply.

Wash 40 degrees. Do take care, personally I would never tumble dry a hand knitted garment, they're too precious!
