This knitting pattern is your must-make next project if you need this beautiful multicoloured stocking stitch domino blanket in your life!
What is domino knitting?
Domino or modular knitting is a technique of knitting one piece of knitting in different colours and squares AND with no sewing up needed. By picking up stitches from the neighbouring squares you never have to sew any of them together. You’ll be an expert at picking up by the end.
The square is known as a mitred square, by casting off 2 stitches in the middle of the row you create a square. The pattern includes detailed step by step guide to making the squares.
By using Sirdar Jewelspun yarn (colour 844 shown in the main picture) there is no need to keep changing colours.
The finished blanket should measure approximately 115cm x 145cm.
